Hello – I’m Wendy! I’ve been a professional interior designer for 25+ years! I’ve been intrigued by space, light, and color my whole life through. I’ve worked on projects as small as a bathroom to projects as a large as an entire high school. No matter the size or type, my goal is to design interiors that foster connections between people, nature, and the elements that uplift us. I believe that every design feature—whether it’s a window, piece of art, or a view—should inspire movement through the space, with beauty present from every angle. I have a deep appreciation for nature’s role in creating a restorative experience and strive to blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors in all my work.
I earned a bachelors degree in interior design from UW-Madison (go badgers) and a masters degree in architecture from the University of Michigan (go blue) and taught at the university level for many years (go boilermakers, pointers, and cardinals).
In my downtime I enjoy traveling with my family, laughing with my kids, and working on the house (it’s an occupational hazard!).
Send me a message if you’d like to learn more about HDS and the services we provide.
Cheers!
Wendy
